Tami L. Peterson

Tami Peterson is a family law attorney with 100 % of her practice devoted exclusively to family law. Tami has been named a Super Lawyer since 2015 and is a former chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Family Law Section.  Tami is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Minnesota State Bar Association - Family Law Section, and the 6th District Bar Association.

Tami is from Southern Minnesota and she currently lives in the Mankato area with her husband and children.  When she is not focusing on the law, she is an avid traveler - both domestically and internationally.   She has been to several remote areas of the world on safari, diving, or wandering with friends and family looking for adventure.

Tami represents clients in all areas of family law: adoption, dissolution, paternity, child support, custody, and grandparent visitation cases. Tami has experience in highly complex dissolution matters including dissolutions involving business and farm interests. Tami also has experience in contested custody matters and custody evaluations.
